Crude oil prices nudge down 2 straight days due to U.S.-China trade spat
  • 6 years ago
The escalating U.S.-China trade spat has dragged global oil prices down for two straight days.
As of Thursday,... West Texas Intermediate Crude was trading at... 66-point-81 U.S. dollars per barrel,... down zero-point-2 percent, while Brent Crude fell zero-point-3-7 percent to 72-point-oh-one dollars.
The fall has been mostly attributed to the growing trade war between the two superpowers.... which is forecast to hamper global growth and lower the demand for crude oil.
Upward pressure on prices due to concerns over the U.S. resuming sanctions on Iran this November... prevented prices from falling further.
