S. Korea's transport ministry advises people not to drive 42 BMW models

South Korea's transportation ministry has advised people to refrain from driving the BMW cars subject to a recall,... asking the owners to wait until the cars have been shown to be safe.
The transport ministry also said the cause of the BMWs catching fire will be confirmed in the end.
The ministry's announcement comes after another BMW sedan caught fire Thursday on a Korean highway.
It was the same 520d model that's been at the center of a recall and a lawsuit over a faulty engine part.
29 BMWs have caught fire so far this year, and BMW Korea said last week that it will recall 42 models -- more than 100-thousand cars in total.
