South Korea's presidential office says neither the country nor the President have ever forgotten about the South Korean man now being held captive by an armed group in Libya.
The Presidential spokesperson said Thursday that the country and the President have been doing everything possible for the safe release of the Korean man abducted about a month ago... with three of his Filipino colleagues.
The top office also said that a South Korean military force, the Cheonghae Unit, stationed in the region to fight piracy,... is on its way to help with rescue efforts on the President's order.
The government has been in close cooperation with the government of Libya and other allies such as the U.S. and the Philippines since the day the man was kidnapped.
This reponse from the presidential office comes a day aftera video of the captives was released... showing the one South Korean his three coworkers... pleading for their release.
