The latest HYPEBEAST Eats installment takes you to SoHo, New York to peak inside Chalk Point Kitchen. The eatery established by Matt Lavine, has a sole focus on locally-sourced produce to create a culinary experience, reminiscent of the city itself. Inspired by flavors found in Little Italy to Chinatown, Executive Chef Joe Isidori wanted to take the local experience beyond the simple act of buying a few ingredients from local markets. Its signature dish, the Kimchi muscles, includes local cabbage from farms in Jersey, house smoked bacon, among other locally sourced ingredients that capture the essence of the city in taste and aroma.
