Rick Owens for adidas 2014 Spring Collection Further Look | Video

Earlier this month during Paris Fashion Week, the Rick Owens show opened to serve two purposes: One, to preview the line's rock 'n' roll inspired Spring 2014 collection in front of an astonished crowd and two, to unveil the much anticipated collaboration between Rick Owens and adidas. Adding another coveted designer to its list of partnerships — right after Yohji Yamamoto and Raf Simons — the Rick Owens x adidas collaboration keeps Owen's signature minimal and monochromatic aesthetic while taking up a rather futuristic shape. The high-top's upper is constructed using a combination of premium leather and nylon while suede accents can be seen at the toe and heel portions of the sneaker. While subtle, branding can be seen in the form of three diagonal lines made from small perforations — indicative of adidas`iconic branding. adidas granted Hypebeast some time alone with the first batch of sneakers at its Paris showroom, so here they are for your viewing pleasure.
