With the stifling weather continuing in the country for days now,... electricity demand is going through the roof again -- raising concerns power supplies could be exhausted.
The Korea Power Exchange projects the maximum load will last for around an hour from 4PM,... reaching 93-million kilowatts.
If that happens,... the reserve margin, representing the amount of electricity generated that's not being used,... would fall to the six-percent level.
The power supply is considered stable when the margin is above ten percent.
