The U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives have reached their final agreement on the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act on Monday,..
and media outlets have reported that the seven-hundred-sixteen billion defense policy bill,.. which authorizes military budget and funding in the fiscal year 2019,... prohibited any budget planning which could reduce the number of U.S. forces in South Korea under 22-thousand, unless a Washington's defense minister confirms that the decision comes after a consultation with Seoul and Tokyo.
The bill also includes plans for a raise for troop members by two-point-six percent,.. along with plans to purchase key military assets and jets.
The bill has to pass the full House and Senate,... and then be signed by U.S. President Trump to become law.
