PM Modi in Africa: Greeted by guard of honour, folk dance in Rwanda

On his three-nation tour of Africa, PM Narendra Modi arrived in Rwanda on Monday where he was greeted by a guard of honour and folk dance. Modi inspected the guard of honour and was greeted by a military band and folk dancers soon after he landed in Kigali, Rwanda.
Rwanda is the first stop on PM Modi’s three-nation tour of Africa. He is later scheduled to visit Uganda and South Africa. In Kigali, Modi announced a new diplomatic mission in Rwanda and a $200 million credit line for the country
PM Modi said
At a press conference on Monday Modi said: “We offer Rwanda in its leading institutions in India, we must further increase this contribution to capacity building, we would like to increase really this contribution. That is why today we have signed agreements on the lines of credit of 200 million (US) dollars in training as well, and we have discussed cooperation in many sectors.”
