Trump Insists He's 'Very Happy' About Progress Of North Korea Talks

President Trump on Monday said he's "very happy" about the current pace of talks with North Korea.

President Trump took to Twitter on Monday and said he's "very happy" about how North Korea talks are progressing.
"A Rocket has not been launched by North Korea in 9 months. Likewise, no Nuclear Tests. Japan is happy, all of Asia is happy. But the Fake News is saying, without ever asking me (always anonymous sources), that I am angry because it is not going fast enough. Wrong, very happy!" Trump wrote.
His tweet apparently refers to a recent Washington Post report on the slow progress pertaining to the denuclearization talks.
"The lack of immediate progress, though predicted by many analysts, has frustrated the president, who has fumed at his aides in private even as he publicly hails the success of the negotiations," the piece noted, citing sources.
In his tweets and other public remarks, Trump has remained hopeful about North Korea.
"I have confidence that Kim Jong Un will honor the contract we signed &, even more importantly, our handshake. We agreed to the denuclearization of North Korea," Trump tweeted on July 9.
