Epic Leopard rescue operation from a well in India- all ends well

The forest officials rescue a leopard which had accidentally fallen into an open defunct agricultural well in Venkatraopalli village of Ellanthakunta mandal in Karimnagar district.

The wild animal aged around one and a half years had fallen into the open well some two days ago while looking for food on the outskirt of the village.

The local poultry farmers dump dead birds into the open well.

It was noticed by villagers and they alerted the forest officials.

The forest rescue team from Warangal rushed to the spot and tranquillised the animal and later lifted in a net.

After bringing out the animal, the forest officials found that the animal was exhausted without food and water. They administered saline and shifted it to Warangal for necessary treatment.
