ROK Marine Corps closely consulting with bereaved families of victims of helicopter crash

South Korea's Marine Corps has released footage of Tuesday's helicopter crash in the southeastern city of Pohang that killed five marines and left one seriously injured.
The ten-second clip shows the vehicle crashing shortly after take-off... as its rotor blades fell off.
The Marine Corps has launched an official investigation committee to find the exact cause of the accident.
Marine Corps officials said Thursday the investigation committee is also closely consulting with bereaved families of the victims,... to reflect their wishes during the investigation.
The MUH-1 chopper was exclusively developed for the Marines by Korea Aerospace Industries, which delivered four of them earlier this year.
The Marines had planned to take 28 helicopters by 2023, but that could change based on the results of the investigation.
