Ford presented the new Edge at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show

Ford has pulled the sheet off of the European version of the freshly redesigned Edge at Geneva. Most of the changes are trim- and appearance-based with the American manufacturer hoping the SUV will rival the likes of Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe, Audi Q5, and BMW X3. There are minor tweaks to the exterior including a wider radiator grille – with a different finish for each trim – standard LED lights at the front and rear, and optional LED daytime running lights. Buyers will be able to choose from Trend, Titanium, top-of-the-range Vignale, and for the first time, sporty ST-Line trims. The Edge will continue to be offered with diesel power only, including a new engine: the EcoBlue bi-turbo, 2.0-litre diesel engine which produces 238 horsepower.
