President Moon thanks Pope Francis for prayers for inter-Korean reconciliation

President Moon Jae-in met with the Vatican's foreign minister at the the nation's top office.
The liberal leader expressed his gratitude for Pope Francis' support and prayers for the recent reconciliation between the two Koreas.

"I wish to take this opportunity to offer my respect and gratitude to His Holiness... I am sure his continued support for our government's efforts have certainly been a great help to the success of the South-North Korea summit and the North Korea-U.S. summit"

Archbishop Paul Gallagher replied the Pope has been praying for the many international efforts that President Moon is making... and will continue to pray that Seoul's various diplomatic efforts to establish peace will meet no interruption or difficulty.
The Vatican's FM also delivered a personal invitation from the pontiff to visit the Vatican in October.
