When nothing is coming to your mind on what to make for evening tea snacks, try making these Crispy Onion Fritters for your family. Made with sliced onion, gram flour and spices it is a quick snack that you can munch on a rainy day. Try out this crunchy snack at home and enjoy with your loved ones!


Ingredients:
2 cups onions, sliced
1/2 cup gram flour, sieved
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp green chilli, finely chopped
1/2 tsp asafoetida powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds


Method of preparation:
Heat oil in a vessel.
In a bowl add onion, salt and massage for few minutes.
As soon as the onions start leaving water add green chillies, gram flour, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, asafoetida powder and massage them into the sliced onions.
Keep the gas on low flame and then drop a portion of batter into the oil.
Once you're done adding you can increase it to medium flame.
Wait for few seconds and then start turning the pakoras.
Flip the pakoras over and fry them overall for 5-6 minutes.
Once they turn golden brown, lower the flame and take them out on an absorbent tissue paper.
Our Crispy Onion Fritters are ready.
