A protester climbed the base of Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor on Wednesday, forcing an evacuation. Reuters reports that several other protesters were arrested earlier in the day while carrying signs calling for the abolition of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, also known as ICE. ICE is involved in the recent separation of children from their parents at the US-Mexico border.
