According to Reuters, a woman who scaled the Statue of Liberty appeared in court for her arraignment.
Therese Patricia Okoumou pleaded not guilty to trespassing, disorderly conduct and interfering with governmental administration a day after her arrest on the famed statue.
The 44-year-old woman was arrested on the Fourth of July after a 3-hour standoff with policy.
Okoumou was attending a protest against the Trump administration's immigration policy.
