Protestors march across U.S. demanding Trump administration reunite separated migrant families
  • 6 years ago
Hundreds of thousands of protestors gathered across the United States over the weekend to demand the Trump administration reunite migrant families separated at the southern border.
More than 600 marches under the banner "Families Belong Together" took place in major cities, including New York and Los Angeles.
More than 2,300 children were taken from their parents in recent weeks under Trump's so-called "zero tolerance" immigration policy.
After severe domestic and global backlash, Trump ordered a stop to seperations, but the fate of those already split from their families remains unclear.
