The summer monsoon is bringing torrential rain to South Korea today.
Heavy showers are expected at least until Tuesday.
Over the next two days, most regions will get around 1-hundred to 2-hundred-and-50 millimeters,... with Seoul expecting up to 3-hundred millimeters.
Heavy rain alerts have been issued for some areas on the southern coast, which are getting some 30 millimeters of rain per hour.
That'll slow down in most of the south tonight.
Meanwhile, Typhoon Prapiroon, near Okinawa, Japan, is forecast to pass Jeju-do Island around 3 p.m. today.
Mokpo, as well as Seoul and other central areas are expected to be affected by the storm as soon as early Tuesday.
Korea's national weather agency has warned of flooding and landslides.
Some regions will also see strong wind and lightning, so please do take the necessary precautions and drive carefully.
