Federal agents moved to clear protesters from the front of the Immigration and Custom Enforcement building in Portland, Oregon, on Thursday, June 28.Agents, many dressed in riot gear, moved to clear the encampment at around 6am on Thursday, and tents and other items were seen in the middle of the street, a news report said. Officials issued notice on Monday for protesters to leave, but did not give a deadline. However, agents did not touch protest camps on properties adjacent to the ICE building. It’s unclear if there were any arrests, but reporters saw at least three people being lead away in handcuffs. The group has blocked the front of the building since June 17 in a protest against President Donald Trump’s immigration policies. The building has been closed since then, and Thursday’s actions were to allow for it to reopen. Credit: Brian Wolf via Storyful
