Vegetation Fires Break Out Near Sacramento Airport

Sacramento firefighters were dealing with two vegetation fires near the city’s Mather Airport on June 26.A fire near Mather Airport in Sacramento burned 10-12 acres on June 26 before it was contained, firefighters said. Firefighter also tOne extended to between 10 and 12 acres, they said, before it was contained.A second fire at Excelsior Road southeast of the airport started with a vehicle and spread to grassland, firefighters said.
