Beautiful Rhonda and the Puente Nuevo Bridge - Spain Holidays

Ronda is a mountaintop city in Spain’s Malaga province that’s set dramatically above a deep gorge. This gorge (El Tajo) separates the city’s circa-15th-century new town from its old town, dating to Moorish rule. The views are beautiful and quite different from others we have seen.
Rhonda has a lot of olive plantations and is famous for its olive oil. We bought some while over there.
Here, you can also find the Puente Nuevo, a stone bridge spanning the gorge, with a lookout offering views. There is a centre chamber that was once used as a prison. Strongly recommended to visit.
