Cuenca Cathedral is a Gothic church in the city of Cuenca in south-eastern central Spain. It's based on Norman Gothic from Northern Europe that begun in 1196.
According to information available, the wife of King Alfonso VIII, inspired this cathedral.
It was the Romanesque style that dominated the Christian peninsula around the time the cathedral was constructed.
