LG washers receive positive responses from U.S. consumer poll

LG Electronics washing machines were praised by a U.S. consumer magazine on Friday.
According to industry watcher, Consumer Reports,... South Korea's tech giant beat its rivals for reliability in three washer categories high-efficiency top-loaders, front-loaders and compact front-loaders.
The results were based on over 76-thousand washing machines sold in the United States between 2007 and 2017.
The U.S. implemented safeguard measures against South Korean washers in February, imposing a 20-percent tariff on the first 1-point-2 million imported South Korean washers in 2018,… and a 50-percent tariff on machines beyond that number.
