North Korea is reportedly returning to the U.S. the remains of up to 200 people believed to be members of the U.S. armed forces who died during the Korean War.
Citing multiple U.S. government officials, ...the Associated Press and CNN reported on Wednesday.... that it was unclear where and when the actual transfer would take place or whether the remains have already been delivered.
But they say,.... the remains would ultimately be taken to Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii where the U.S. Defense Department has a lab to identify missing service members.
It was reported that U.S. President Donald Trump had asked North Korean leader Kim Jong-un for the remains during their historic summit in Singapore last week... and that Kim had agreed.
