Trump Declares North Korea Is No Longer a Nuclear Threat President Donald Trump told the US they can rest easy after his summit with Kim Jong Un, despite there being no proof the regime will discontinue their nuclear program. He went on to tweet that North Korea was “our biggest and most dangerous problem” during the Obama administration. Trump and Kim met for nearly five hours earlier this week in Singapore. The two leaders signed a historic document in which Kim Jong Un "reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula" and the US agreed to “provide security guarantees.”
