Hello, I am Lee Jee-hyun with the latest weather update. It's local Election Day in Korea, and thankfully the weather will cooperate.
Just be aware that sunshine will boost UV rays across the nation.. so when you head to your local polling station, you might want to wear some sunblock and a pair of sunglasses.
Inland regions will be as hot as yesterday while some of regions in the east will have cooler than average temperatures, including Daegu and Gyeongju, so let's take a closer look.
Daily highs in Seoul and Chuncheon will get up to 28 degrees Celsius, Gwangju at 30 degrees,... while Daegu and Gyeongju will rise to 26 and 25 degrees respectively.
Warm and sunny conditions will persist for the next five days with highs nearing 30 degrees in Seoul.
