Good morning. Many regions had a blistering first weekend of June... leaving us wondering how hot July and August will be.

A heat wave advisory was issued in some southern regions yesterday, now.. all the heat alerts have been lifted but it will still be quite warm in the afternoon under partly sunny skies.

It won't be as sunny as yesterday, but UV rays remain strong while ozone levels will be high as well. Be sure to drink plenty of water and stay in the shade...in the afternoon.

Taking a closer look at today's temperatures...it feels quite nice in the morning. Seoul and Busan are waking up to lows of 19 degrees Celsius while Gyeongju is breezier at 15 degrees.

But by the afternoon, readings will skyrocket to 31 degrees Celsius in Gyeongju, Daegu will get up to 30 degrees and Seoul will top out at 27 degrees.

Warm and sunny weather will continue with no rain in the forecast in the capital.

That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
