Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says he has now found a position for Juan Mata in his team, and describes the Spaniard's brace in the 2-1 win at Liverpool as "marvellous".

Mata slotted home to put United ahead in the first half at Anfield, and after Liverpool had substitute Steven Gerrard sent off in the second half, Mata doubled the visitors' lead with a stunning scissor kick. Daniel Sturridge pulled a goal back for the home side.

Man United have won away at Anfield 11 times, more than any other team in Premier League history.
