South Korea's economic outlook maintained at 3.0% for 2018: OECD

The latest estimate for the nation's economic growth this year is 3 percent.
That's according to the OECD, which kept its outlook steady.
If that figure is correct it would be a decline from last year's figure: 3-point-1 percent.
As for the global economy, the OECD expects it to strengthen in 2018 and next year, citing a recent pickup in investment and better employment numbers among member nations.
The global forecast of 3-point-8 percent was down a tenth of a percent from earlier predictions, but the OECD still expects growth to reach 3-point-9 percent next year.
One risk pointed out, is over dependence on government spending.
