Imports got more expensive for South Korea last month.
The country's terms of trade index fell to a three-year low... mainly due to higher crude oil prices.
The index measures the unit-for-unit price of imports in terms of the country's own exports.
According to the nation's central bank, it came to 96-point-2-6, a drop of 5-point-2 percent from the year prior.
For five months in a row it's been below one-hundred... and the lowest it's been since January of 2015.
Another key index, though, improved.
The import terms of trade... in other words, the amount of imports a country can buy for its total exports... inched up 1-point-7 percent on-year... to one-hundred-46.
