Keeping its old enemies close and its old friends even closer,... North Korea is preparing for a visit by Moscow's top diplomat.
Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov is to travel to Pyongyang this month amid the flurry of diplomacy ahead of the planned North Korea-U.S. summit in mid-June.
Quoting a foreign ministry spokesperson Wednesday, Russian news agencies reported that Lavrov would travel to Pyongyang next week, though firm dates have yet to be announced.
Lavrov held talks with his North Korean counterpart Ri Yong-ho in Moscow last month,... as the regime moved to improve its strained ties with global powers.
