Wall Street ended a choppy session slightly higher on Monday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 70 points, or around a quarter of a percent, to 24,901.
The S&P 500 edged up less than zero-point-one percent to 2,730 and the Nasdaq added more than eight points, or zero-point-one percent, to 7,411.
In Korea,... the main bourse closed nearly flat on Monday.
The benchmark KOSPI edged down one-and-a-half points... less than a tenth of one percent,.. to 2,476.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ shed more,... dropping over zero-point-eight percent to 858-point-seven.
The Korean won fell against the U.S. dollar.
