South Korea's finance minister says international cooperation is key to start possible inter-Korean projects
  • 6 years ago
Future inter-Korean economic projects will require cooperation with the international community.
That's according to the nation's finance chief who said Seoul is carrying out internal preparations to organize and implement such coordinations with the North... and is closely observing the upcoming Pyongyang and Washington summit.
Speaking in a local radio interview this morning, Kim Dong-yeon also mentioned, the regime will have to join the IMF, which is required by organizations like the World Bank and the Asia Development Bank... as a condition for getting development funds.
The minister added this process would take about three years... because the organization needs to analyze economic data and statistics.
