President Moon Jae-in invited the four key political and government leaders to the top office for lunch to brief them on the results of the recent inter-Korean summit, as well as to tell them about his upcoming diplomatic schedule.
This was the first meeting of its kind since his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Initially, the so-called "five next-in-command" were invited -- Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon ,... National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun ,... Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Lee Jin-sung ,... head of the National Election Commission Kwon Soon-il ,... and Supreme Court Chief Justice Kim Meong-soo .
However, only four of them were able to attend as Chief Justice Kim Meong-soo is visiting Spain, Argentina and Chile.
