Trump calls leak of Mueller questions to media 'disgraceful'
U.S. President Donald Trump has blasted the release of questions that U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller is hoping to ask him as part of the probe into Russia's alleged election meddling.
More than 40 questions were reported by the New York Times on Monday, which include queries into Trump's ties to Russia and if he tried to obstruct the Russia probe itself.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Trump said it was "disgraceful" that the questions were leaked.
He again called the investigation a "witch hunt", adding it would seem very hard to obstruct justice for a crime that never happened.
The White House also pointed out that most of the questions were not about collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, which it said was the entire premise of the investigation.
Representatives for the Special Counsel's Office are yet to comment on the report and it remains to be seen if the president will be questioned by Mueller.
