Now we turn to our Michelle Park at the weather center for the latest updates. Michelle, I hear levels of ultrafine dust are still high here in Seoul.
Daniel, levels are high, but the bad news is that they will get worse. Currently the air quality in the central region has been steadily worsening as a lack of winds has let the dust accumulate. By the evening, the wind will weaken even more, leading to very bad air quality tomorrow morning.
But by tomorrow afternoon, the southern parts of the nation will be receive some precipitation that hopefully will wash away the dust.
Showers will only wet southern provinces,... with less than 5 millimeters of rainfall expected, while the coastal areas will more up to 30 millimeters.
Seoul starting off the morning at 16 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju at 14 and 12 degrees respectively.
Into the afternoon, Seoul will rise up to 25 degrees, Gwangju 23 and Busan peaking at 20 degrees.
On Wednesday, the rain will spread nationwide,... cooling down temperatures at least until Thursday morning. Afterward, until the extended holiday on Monday, we should be able to enjoy warm and favorable conditions.
