2018 Inter-Korean Summit highlights review Part. 3

Now after they signed the declaration, of course they came out of the Peace House to announce this agreement. Let's have a brief listen to what they had to say.



"Chairman Kim Jong-un and I reached a crucial agreement after holding a historic meeting in accordance with the aspirations of the 80 million Korean people who wish for peace.
We declared that there will be no more war on the Korean Peninsula and thus a new era of peace has begun.
Today, Chairman Kim and I confirmed the common goal of realizing, through complete denuclearization, a nuclear-free Korean Peninsula."

"President Moon Jae-in and I feel the heavy weight of all North and South Korean people's hopes and expectations from our meeting.
We sincerely discussed how to resolve the many issues that our people are strongly aware of. Moreover we expressed our firm determination to open a new era of prosperity and happiness on a peaceful land where there is no war, and agreed on steps to realize it."

Well, I think the world hopes that the 2018 Inter-Korean Summit will be the first page of a new chapter in the history of the Korean peninsula, one that is more peaceful and more hopeful than the one that has just passed.
