Maruti Suzuki has revised the prices of its product lineup after GST by 3 percent. The Government of India has implemented the new taxation system from July 1, 2017, and Maruti has passed on the benefits to customers. The Maruti Alto, India's largest selling car, has received a price cut ranging from Rs 2,300 to Rs 5,400 depending on variants. The company said, "The rate of reduction varies across locations depending on the VAT rates applicable before GST."
