Former U.S. first lady Barbara Bush has died at the age of 92.
The wife and mother of two U.S. presidents had been ill for some time.
Park Se-young has more.
The immediate cause of Barbara Bush's death was not revealed, but she had reportedly been suffering from congestive heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, …which had worsened in recent days.
The Bush family released a statement saying she had refused to receive further medical treatment …following a recent series of hospitalizations.
She instead chose to spend her last days in so-called "comfort care" with her family.
According to her personal website, her funeral will be invitation only, …but the public is welcome to pay their respects on Friday at St. Martin's Church in Houston.

Mrs. Bush was one of two women in American history after Abigail Adams to have had a husband and a son elected President.
She and her husband, George H.W. Bush, were also married 73 years, …which is longer than any other presidential couple in U.S. history.
Through a statement, her son and 43rd U.S. President, George W. Bush, described her as a fabulous First Lady and a woman unlike any other who brought levity, love, and literacy to millions.
Mrs. Bush was well known for her plainspoken manner and signature white hair and pearl necklaces and earrings.
She was a potent defender of her husband and son while they were in office.
She also set up the Barbara Bush Foundation to fight illiteracy.
