U.S. President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Monday to accuse former FBI director James Comey of committing "many crimes" as well as being an "untruthful slimeball" and the "worst FBI Director in history."
In an interview with USA Today on Monday prior to the release of his book "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership,"... Comey said President Trump was a "stain" on those who worked for him.

"I actually believe he's morally unfit to be president. And I say that because someone who is able to see moral equivalence in Charlottesville or to speak and treat women like they're pieces of meat, and to lie constantly, and who appears to lack an external moral framework."

Comey also reiterated comments he made in his previous interview with ABC News on Sunday that President Trump may be vulnerable to blackmail by Russia.

"There's a non-zero possibility that the Russians have some-- some sway over him that is rooted in his personal experience. And I don't know whether that's the business about the activity in a Moscow hotel room, or finances or something else."

Despite his fiery rhetoric, President Trump provided no evidence in his tweets that Comey had committed a crime.
The former FBI chief has not been accused of wrongdoing by legal authorities.
