U.S. slaps anti-dumping duties of up to 75% on Korean steel

Less than three weeks after South Korea and the U.S. announced they'd resolved trade-related issues concerning their bilateral free trade agreement, the U.S. has slapped anti-dumping duties of up to 75-percent on Korean steel.
The U.S. Commerce Department said Thursday that it's sticking to its preliminary decision made in October to levy duties on a number of Korean steel producing companies of 'Oil Country Tubular Goods,' one of Korea's main steel export items.
U.S. officials say some companies will be charged higher duties as they were deemed uncooperative in submitting materials related to the case.
