Good afternoon. We should have cloudier skies across South Korea,... while Beijing will be rainy and cool,... but there's plenty of sun in Tokyo.

Temperatures in the upper parts are pretty much a repeat of yesterday while those in southern regions will notice highs 3 to 4 degrees lower than yesterday.

Taking a closer look at today's highs, Seoul and Jeju will get up to 19 degrees Celsius, Gyeongju will top out at 17 but rain will start to fall on Jeju Island at around 9 p.m.

A dry weather advisory is in place for many of the eastern parts of the country, including Daegu, Busan and Gyeongju, but much needed rainfall is in store on Saturday to soak the country.

Saturday is shaping up to be a rainy day for most parts of the country, bringing down the temperatures to below average again over the weekend.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

Most of South Korea will have a few clouds with pleasant temperature readings, while most of North Korea will have cloudy skies all day.

As for the rest of Asia, heat will build across northern India this weekend and early next week, putting millions of residents once again at risk of heat-related health problems.

The unseasonably warm temperatures will come to an end on Sunday, but expect a scorcher for couple more days.

Heading to North America, warm weather arrived in Washington DC but a 'red flag warning' is in effect for the D.C. area for possible 'extreme fire behavior.'

As for South America, most parts will have a repeat of Thursday's weather conditions.

Taking you to Europe,... rain and clouds will wrap up the work week in London but glorious sunshine is in store next week with balmier highs.

Lastly to Africa, in Cape Town there is a chance of a shower or two during the morning, followed by partly cloudy skies in the afternoon.

That's the weather update for now.
