U.S., U.K and France looking into military countermeasures on Syria

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Russia of imminent military action against Syria over a suspected chemical weapons attack on a rebel-held area.
For more,... we have our Kim Mok-yeon on the line…
The latest we are hearing is that the United States and its allies are considering whether to hit Syria with airstrikes within the coming hours or days...

Yes Mark,
President Trump tweeted on Wednesday that Washington would fire quote "nice and new smart missiles" at Syria... and he lambasting Moscow for standing by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, whom he referred to as a "Gas Killing Animal."
The tweets came after Russia warned it would shoot down any missiles fired at Syria in retaliation against the alleged chemical attack.
However, the White House says options are still being considered.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Washington, together with its Western allies are considering several options, and final decisions haven't been made.
British Prime Minister Theresa May and French President Emmanuel Macron have also been speaking out on the possibility of taking military countermeasures against Syria.

So as of the moment, no-one has claimed responsibility for this suspected chemical attack, how's the investigation going?

Inspectors from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons are planning to travel to Syria, after receiving an invitation from the Assad regime to look into the issue.
Syria says it will cooperate with the organization, stressing it's not responsible.
At the UN Security Council on Tuesday, Russia and the United States blocked each other's attempts to set up international investigations into the attack.
So the results are yet to be seen, but with the World Health Organization revealing that some 500 Syrians from Douma showed symptoms of exposure to toxic chemicals, it seems to show some kind of chemical weapon was used in the attack.
However,... we are still no closer to knowing what kind of gas might've been used.
Back to you, Mark.
