U.S. President Donald Trump has thanked Chinese President Xi Jinping for his "kind words" about lowering auto import tariffs,... adding that they will make great progress together.
Trump's tweeted response came a matter of hours after a speech by the Chinese leader in Beijing,... in which he promised to "significantly lower" import tariffs,... which includes taxes on automobiles.
On Monday, President Trump accused China of unfairly targeting the U.S. by threatening tariffs on agricultural products.
