Ethics Office Asks EPA to Check Out Scott Pruitt
  • 6 years ago
The acting director for the Office of Government Ethics sent a letter to the Environmental Protection Agency outlining areas of concern regarding Scott Pruitt.
According to director David Apol, the EPA administrator's conduct in office is being called into question for ethics violations.
Apol outlined that Pruitt's frequent trips back to his home state raise concerns about whether he's using public office for personal gain.
Apol's letter also called into question Pruitt's rental agreement for a Capitol Hill townhouse co-owned by the wife of an energy lobbyist.
