Injuries, damage continue to rise after Pohang earthquake

Reports of injuries and damage to buildings continued to rise Monday in Pohang, a day after the southeastern city was hit by a four-point-six magnitude earthquake.
The number of injuries rose to 40, …of which five people remain in hospital, while the rest with minor injuries have returned to their homes after receiving medical treatment.
So far, 54 public buildings, including schools and cultural heritage sites, and 80 private buildings were reported to have been damaged.
Local authorities say they're inspecting buildings in the city, …adding that there may be further reports of damage.
