South Korea wins the first gold of home Olympics--
Speed-skater Lim Hyo-jun,... won the first medal in PyeongChang,.. and received his gold on Sunday -- a day after he was victorious in the final of the men's 15-hundred meter short track event.
The 21-year-old gold medalist stood on the top of the podium,... with Sjinkie Knegt ( ) to his right with the silver and Semen Elistratov ( ), an Olympic Athlete from Russia, to his left with the bronze.
Despite the bitterly cold wind and freezing drizzle,... hundreds of fans gathered at the outdoor stage to cheer and congratulate the medalists.
