Trump administration considering privatizing International Space Station

The Trump administration is reportedly moving towards privatizing the International Space Station after ending its funding to the space lab from 2025.
A NASA document obtained by the Washington Post, reads "it is possible that industry could continue to operate certain elements or capabilities of the ISS as part of a future commercial platform."
The document goes on to say that the space agency will focus on expanding its commercial partnerships over the next seven years to prepare for an eventual handover.
The White House budget request will be released on Monday, which is expected to include a 150 -million dollar proposal to help with the transition to the private sector.
But some lawmakers and experts warn that such a move could disrupt international agreements as well as U.S. scientific research.
