Thundersnow Rumbles During Buffalo Lake-Effect Snow

Rumbles of thunder could be heard as a band of lake-effect snow swept through upstate New York on Sunday, December 10. The National Weather Service reported there was thundersnow reported in the area.Up to 18 inches of snow was expected to fall from the system, the weather service said.
