Former Today co-host Meredith Vieira once went snooping around Matt Lauer’s office when she found what she said to be “a huge bag of sex toys.” The exchange happened in a cringeworthy clip from an appearance of Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer on the Meredith Vieira show in May 2016. Matt defends himself by saying “We had a guest on the show who was a sex therapist” “when she left, she gave each of us a shopping bag of stuff.” Vieira said she didn’t remember a sex therapist and that she “didn’t get a bag of stuff,” Guthrie sat on the couch looking confused and shaking her head. This is one of many clips resurfacing since Lauer was fired on Tuesday for serious allegations of sexual misconduct.
